The Brazen family has always believed in giving and contributing to their community. At first it was elementary school carnivals and Easter egg hunts. Then it was school auctions.

In 2008 Brazen Sotheby's International Realty contributed thousands of dollars to local elementary, middle and high school programs along with the University of Washington. Major sponsors of the Overlake Service League's annual luncheon that year, the Brazen's along with others raised more than $425,000 to aid the homeless throughout the Eastside.

Currently Joseph is proud to be a Board Member at Bellevue LifeSpring (formerly Overlake Service League), whose mission is to promote stability, self-sufficiency and independence for those in need in the Bellevue community through programs and services that feed, clothe, shelter and educate.
